Sports Academy closer to the Hotel

Gopichand Badminton Academy

The Gopichand Badminton Academy is a world-class badminton training facility at a distance of 6.2 kms. The academy was founded by former All-England badminton champion, Pullela Gopichand, in 2008 with the aim of producing world-class badminton players from India. The academy has state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure, including eight courts with wooden flooring, air-conditioning, floodlights, a gymnasium, physiotherapy, and sports science labs, and accommodation for trainees. The Academy has produced several world-class badminton players, including P.V. Sindhu, Saina Nehwal, K. Srikanth, and P. Kashyap. 

Gachibowli Stadium

At a distance of 6.8 kms, Gachibowli Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium with a seating capacity of 30,000 people. The stadium was constructed to host the 2003 Afro-Asian Games and has since hosted several international sporting events.  Also home to the Hyderabad Cricket Association, and several domestic Cricket matches and Indian Premier League (IPL) matches have been played at the stadium. The Gachibowli Stadium has world-class facilities and infrastructure, including floodlights, a 400-meter synthetic track, and a synthetic football pitch. The stadium also has a sports training academy, a swimming pool, and a gymnasium, making it a popular destination for sports enthusiasts in Hyderabad.
